Departure Bay Real Estate
The Departure Bay area is located on the hills surrounding Departure Bay. As you can imagine, the views are stunning. Many homes in the area have views of the Bay and views of the BC Ferries coming in and out of the Bay.
The homes in the area are older with most of them being 30 or so years old. The lots are often larger than newer areas of Nanaimo. There are some funky old homes down by the beach, as well as some modest split-levels behind them, and a lot of semi-luxury to luxury homes perched around the shoreline and high on the surrounding hills.
