Where to recycle in Nanaimo

 

If you are either in the throes of preparing your house to sell or in the process of packing for a move you may find yourself with a lot of items you need to dispose of.  So where can you recycle in Nanaimo?

Small Appliance Recycling - Beginning on April 1st 2011 The Electrical Stewardship Association ( CESA) is managing a programme designed to recycle and keep small , broken electrical appliances out of the landfill.  I am delighted to learn about this new programme.  I have had no luck with electric can openers ( if you know of a good one -please let me know!)  Now I have somewhere to take my most recent broken, can opener.
