Real Estate in Departure Bay

Real estate in Departure Bay consists of some townhouses, a few condos but primarily single family homes.  The area is established with many of the homes being 30 plus years old.  Many homes offer sweeping views of Departure Bay and out into Georgia Strait.

Housing prices range from a low of $250,000 on upwards.  I have detailed below an idea of what is available currently in real estate in Departure Bay.  I have broken it down by different price ranges.

Under $300,000 - Options that are currently available include a 3 bedroom, 1600 sq. foot older home, 8150 sq. foot lot with a view.  The house is in need of some repairs and is currently rented out.  Also available is a two bedroom 1150 sq. foot condo in Seacape Manor with stunning views for $299,900.

Under $350,000- In this price range there are currently a number of new townhouses and high density level entry homes available.  Another option that is currently on the market would be a small rancher on a small lot for $315,000.

Under $400,000 - There are several nice 3-5 bedroom family homes in this range.  Some offer views.

Under $450,000 - In many cases in this price range you can expect to get a well maintained, family home on a larger lot with a view.  There are also some high end, ocean view, large townhouses available in Edgewood Properties which is a gated community.

 $450,000 and up - You could expect to find a selection of new homes and older homes with views and many updates in this price range.
