Nanaimo school district calendar 2013-2014

This August, as every August, I start looking around to see where I put all the information my son came home with, the last day of school.  Usually we receive a list of school supplies and a Nanaimo school district calendar.

I find that I refer to the Nanaimo school district calendar many times throughout the school year.  It’s wonderful to be able to refer to it when planning holidays etc.  With that in mind, I thought it would be very helpful to other Nanaimo parents to post this calendar online.  Please feel free to print off a copy for your bulletin board.

Here are some inportant dates to add to your calendar:

• Wednesday, September 4: Schools open

• Monday, Sept. 30: Non-instructional day - Students do not attend

• Monday, October 14: Thanksgiving

• Friday, October 25: Non-instructional day - Students do not attend

• Monday, November 11: Remembrance Day

• Tuesday, November 12 : Non-instructional day - Students do not attend

• Friday, December 20: Last day of school before Winter vacation
