Nanaimo real estate market weekly tidbits

As a local Nanaimo Realtor I make it my business to know the market.  I do several posts a month where I do in depth reviews of the state of the current real estate market in Nanaimo.  In addition to these more detailed monthly reports I thought it would be interesting to pull out a few market ' tidbits' each week to share with you.

Here are a few interesting real estate stats I pulled today, January 28, 2015.

In the North Nanaimo area, the average home price per square foot of new Condo/Strata type listings within the last 2 months is $213.46.

35.51% of listings put on the market in the Uplands area,               within the last year have actually sold. 

In the North Jingle Pot area, the average home price per square foot of new Single Family type listings within the last 9 months is $213.10. 

The average sale price of Condo/Strata type listings in the Central Nanaimo area, within the last 3 months is $217,084.25. 

34.09% of Single Family type listings put on the market in the Central Nanaimo area, within the last 4 months have actually sold. 

In the Brechin Hill area, the average home price per square foot of new Condo/Strata type listings within the last 3 months is $165.83.
