Every Tuesday our office does a tour of new listings. Yesterday's tour was North Nanaimo and Lantzville homes for sale. I viewed a number of North Nanaimo and Lantzville homes for sale.

After a long tour of new listings I decided that it would be fun to do a "Best of Show" blog post each week. In this "Best of Show" post I will choose a home that I feel was the best home for value on the tour for that area.

This week's winner of "Best of Show" was in Lantzville

An immaculate rancher on one of the quietest streets in Lantzville, while being just minutes away from Nanaimo's best shopping centres, restaurants and recreation. Beautiful landscaping, circular driveway, 1/4 acre, RV parking, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a feature brick fireplace with natural gas insert, are just a few great features this home has to offer. The backyard is incredibly private and nicely treed; this is quite possibly the perfect starter or retirement home.

Lynn's feedback- I felt that this rancher was good value for $339,900. You get a nice home for this price and you get a nice big yard to spread out into. Ranchers are always a good buy in my opinion. They have good resell value as both seniors and young families like the benefit of living on one floor.
